ok...I chose the Gray Wolf because for as long as i can remeber i have loved wolves.

There are a few reasons why the gray wolf is endagered.One big reason is for their fur.Hundreds have been illegally trapped for their fur.In Canada,they are thought of as pests,and are ften killed.Other than fur,some are hunted for fun or sport.There have been other reasons,like livestock protection,but other methods could be used.

I picked the orangutan because i was looking through the animals and this one was very funny looking.

The main reason as to why it is endangered is becsause of the continuing destruction of the forests, and the illegal killing of adult females to obtain juveniles for the animal trade.

To stop these animals from being endangered we could just stop destroying the forests..

I chose the panda bear because they are very cute and I have always liked bears.

It is mainly endangered because of poaching and habitat fragmentation. An estimate of about 1,600 panda bears live in the wild today. We can protect the panda bear by speaking out against poaching, and stop destroying their forest habitats.

i chose the cheetah because it is the fastest running animal in the world and i am on i track team so i thought it would be cool to pick the cheetah.

the cheetah is endangered because human beings are settling in their habitat and threatening their prey. the ranchers also kill them to keep them away from their flock or herds. another reason that they are endangered is because the reserves such as zoos and national parks also have in impact on their extinction.

to help the cheetahs i would try to get the governments to ban the killing of cheetahs and ban that the reserves stop "reserving" them.

I chose the Sea Otter because I think they are the most adorable animals ever.

One reason why the Sea Otter is endangered is because of many oil spils. Since the otters rely on fur for warmth, they suffer from hypothermia after the oil spil because the oil damages their fur. They are also endangered due to nuclear testing near Amchitka Island in Alaska. The testing causes damage to a Sea Otter's lungs, heart, brain, and ears.

ok well i pick the shark cause they are awesome and people don't realize that they aren't trying to eat people.

Sharks are endangered beacause of movies like "Jaws" and "Megladon". Not to say they aren't good movies cause they are but they depict sharks as animals thats sole purpose is to eat humans. That is simply not true. Also every year people invade their enviorment causeing sharks to attack in defense

Well, I picked the snow leopard. It is so cute and I really want to see one.
The snow leopard is endangered because of its fur. It is a prized possession in the north. The fur is rare.
We can help the snow leopard by setting up more reserves, and that helps other animals too.

I chose the Indiana Bat because they are adorable and I've always loved bats.


The indiana bat is endangered because of changes to cave climates and disturbance or vandalism during which disrupta bats, causing them to burn up fat reserves, which lessens their chances of surviving until spring.

In order to protect these cratures, i think there should be some sort of legal penalty if you disturb a bat cave and there sohuld be some methos of guarding these caves during hybernation.

okay, well I chose the Elephant,to be more specific African and Asian elephants, because i love elephants.

They are endangered mostly because their habitat is being destroyed, mostly by humans. And also, they are being poached for their ivory. ='[

The two main things that can be done to help prevent the extinction of elephants, is if we would STOP DESTROYING the rainforest, and if we were able to better prevent poaching.

I chose the elephant because I want to go see an elephant sometime in my life and and that might be hard if there are none left.

The main reason the elephant is endangered is because there habitat is shrinking. In order to help the elephant people need to protect the environment. Elephants are also being used as trade items, some illegaly.

i choose the white bengal tiger because it is kool and powerful and i like it endangered animals need to besaved to help a white bengal tiger, we could stop cutting down the rainforests that it lives in, we could also stop hunting of these powerful beasts, they are merely trying to survive since all of their prey is being hunted by humans and the destroying of their homes leads to fighting between them and then that causes more of them to die. by stopping the expansion into rainforests, we could save them. but we would also need to stop poachers who are hunting tigers just for fun even knowing that they are going to be extinct in a short time, that is how we can help the white bengal tiger and other endangered animals.

I chose the eastern puma because I havent really heard much about this animal before.

the eastern puma is endangered because it doesn't have enough room to hunt and live , anymore. They also hunt white-tailed deer, which are becoming scarce,, making it hard for the puma to get their food.

well...i wanted to do the giraffe because its my favorite animal...but the giraffe isn't endangered!
so instead i chose the kakapo because it had afunny name that started with K-(the best letter) lol

this animal is endangered because of human usage of their homeland. b they need large woods to live in but we humans make roads and houses and buildings and disturb their peace. they were also hunted but hunting lynx has been illegal in all states except for alaska and montana for a while. i picked the lynx because i think its cute!!!!

The Wild Ass!! I chose this animal because c'mon, who doesn't love a wild ass?
The main reason for it being endangered is the lack of vital vegetation. Wild asses (lol) currently live only in Ethiopia and Somalia, in dry, stony areas. This makes it hard for them to find food. Another cause of the wild ass being endangered is interbreeding with free-ranging domestic asses.
One way to help these endangered asses is to provide them with a large reservation so they can easily get food.

im picking the lynx instead because i have always been fascinated by their appearance and ability to jump reeeeeeally reeeeeeally high. they just seem cooler than the average wildcat. xD

they were endangered because their valuable fur was prized and hunted. the lynx is now protected from hunting in all the u.s. states except montana and alaska. the greatest threat that faces the lynx today is the destruction abd overuse of their habitat. lynx need large areas to live in and hunt and with an increasing amount of people moving into their habitat, they are displaced and need to look for new land. sooner or later they're gonna have no more land to go to and thats the same with other endangered animals too.

wat u can do to help this lynx is to just join any conservation group because they're all for animals rights and stuff.

okay, i chose the black bear because they are really cool and also because i find it ironic how I always used to get afraid of them and yet they are endangered because of us.
The three big reasons for them being endangered is because of habitat loss, poaching, and depredation skills. We could potentionally help them by not hinting them and by just not wasting paper because of the logging that is destroying their habitat.

i chose the monarch butterfly, because like i said in class, its pretty! its endangered because their habitats keep getting ruined and disappearing..the WWF has set up a conservation in Mexico to help protect these butterflies.
