I usually find the website that I post by searching websites on Google. From there I look at the websites for things that back up my opinion. I look at multiple sites to determine similarities on the different subjects. I assume that the information is accurate when it is similar to multiple websites.

To find a website to post i use google to search the topic that that im researching, then i look at sevreal different sites and choose one that looks and sounds reliable. I usually use google. sometimes ill use the search bar that came with my computer, but that doesnt seem to give me enough choices for what i need sometimes. I usually dont look, i just assume that everything is right. If im told that a certian website doesnt give u truthful information ill obviously avoid using it. I usually search my sites on google. I compare several websites as well as trying to only use .edu or .gov. If i find that many websites have the same information than i assume that site to have a good source of information. One site I trust that is not .gov or not .edu is cnn.com. i know their information is right because they are actual published articles.

In order to find the website that i post, i go to google and search whatever topic we're supposed to be finding a link to. I then make sure that this site is relevant and pertains to the topic being searched. I also try to make sure it's a valid source, but of course i have no real way of telling. I find the website that I post by google searching the topic. After finding and reading the page, I check other sites like Wikipedia. I do this to check that my info is accurate and not just one point ot view. Guidelines for Accurate Recources
The site I chose uses an "Accuracy" Factor. It asks if the author has aknowledges all views. If an author does not, the author may only be expressing one side of the story, which would make in inaccurate.
This site really helps, and now I have a better way to check my websites! =P

Im never really ever sure the information is true but i do try to back it up with other websites.

The links that i post on my blogs, i use google, yahoo or ask. I noe the link that i provide is giving honest and ethical information that i can trust this site as a source of information because i compare the links to the other links with similar topic and see if that links is reliable or not.

i thnk it is important to know when the website was updated and how old is the information.

I find my website using google.com or another search engine (yahoo, dogpile, ask, etc). I know that the information i get is honest and ethical because i compare the information using other websites, or i simply know that the information is true.
Website Evaluation
This site tells you to check what kind of domain (nonprofit, educational, commercial, etc.) the site you are evaluating has. This could come in handy because if it is a government website, for instance, then it is trustworthy.

2. What I do is look up multiple websites until I find one that seems to be resonable. I also check to see if the websites Im on are common as well. Otherwise Im just assuming that they are accurate.

To find the website that I post, I usually just search the topic on google. I then read over the information and see if most of it makes sense. If something looks wierd I might check that information with another website to make sure it is accurate. I used the security focus website because it offers a checklist of questions that allow you to know if the information is accurate or not.
 

Like everyone else, I also use Google to find reliable websites. I type a specific subject and look through the sites to see which talks most about what I'm looking for. When I'm on the website I can tell if it was made by a large company or just an individual by the page's style and detail. If I'm not sure that the facts are correct i can browse a couple other sites and compare.
