In my opinion, I don't really think this man is pregnant. People can carry their weight on their stomachs. I don't think this is an ethical use of technology. Instead of trying to find ways to get men pregnant, we should be focusing our attention and money on helping people with diseases that have no cure, like cancer. I don't see how it would be illegal to get a man pregnant, especially if he claimed to be a girl previously. I don't think it is a moral use of technology because instead of trying to attract attention by getting a man pregnant, they should be fucusing on projects that will help more than one person.
legally this guy is a man. but he really is a woman, so this man isnt pregnant. i dont think this is ethicalbecause if it were meant to be this way it would have happened before. This is legal but i dont see a point on why u would need to use this technology. I dont think this is a moral use of technology.i found another guy who is pregnant so thats what my link is about

Okay, this whole thing kinda scares me. I personally, really do think he could be pregnant. I mean...its happened before with Matt Rice and his partner. Rice had a baby boy in 1999, who they named Blake. I think if he is pregnant then good for them on getting the baby they've dreamt of.
I do, however, think this is a bad use of technology. I think we need to focus on cures for things that our killing people and not so much on a man being pregnant.
I think it's legal, but not so much legal and ethical.
My site is actually Thomas' story.

yes this man is pregnant, but he's not a man. He's a woman w/ man parts on the outside. I think s/he is prego because s/he has all the parts inside in order to be pregnant. I don't think that this is ethical because its just not very normal...I think it is moral though. If a man wants to experence carrying a baby...or fetus...whatever. I think he should be able to, but i don't like it. I dont think he was meant to by God, but if the tech. is available, he can do whatever he wants. According to Thomas Beattie, it is legal to be a prgnant man.
In my opinion I do not think this man is really pregnant. He was once a former woman so technically he isn't straight up a man. Also he could just have a fat stomach or messed with the photo. I do not think this is ethical. Why are we going against nature on trying something stupid when there are bigger problems out there in the world like diseases and stuff. It is legal use of technology because these people aren't breaking the rules or anything like that. I also don't think this is the most important thing in law makers minds. I do not think this is a moral use of technology because there are better things that we can do than trying to make a man pregnant. Also it is a bad idea to go against nature and fool around with stuff people shouldn't fool around with and technically he isn't a guy in my opinion so why even bother.

technically this man is really pregnant. My opinion is that he is really a women because he kept all of his female organs. I think that it is ethical use of technology because if he wanted to change his gender thats his choice. I also think it is legal because just because he is a man he cant have a baby? and it is not doing harm to anyone. My opinion is that it is moral but other people might think that it is not moral. I think that they cannot classify him as a man because he still has his female organs.

I think that this is not really a pregnant man. Technically, he is really a she because she has a XX chromosome. Legally she is a man but laws dont always follow science. She still has female reproductive organs too. All she had was breast redustion and testosterone injections. I think this is legal and ethical but not moral since the child would face humiliation and taunts, but thats the parents decision.

I dont think that he is realy pregnant. I think its unethical. I think its not a legal. I dont think it is moral. if a person is a man there a man. Same if there a women.http://abcnews.go.com/Health/story?id=4581943&page=1 Click Here
Honestly, I do not think this man is pregnant because it’s just impossible. I think this was just a whole hoax. And it was just in perfect timing for april fools day lol. But anyways, I think that the picture of the “pregnant” man that was shown is fake. Art graphics has advanced sooo much, and almost anyone can create all sorts of images. Even if the man was pregnant, then there would be no possible way for the baby to come out, with the exception of having a C-section. I do not think that making a man pregnant is an ethical use of technology. Well, I believe that God only made women the rightful carriers for babies. Messing around with chromosomes in my opinion in order to make a trangendered person be able to have a child is not correct. I believe that we were all made the way we were and that was for a reason. Well, I don’t know if it’s a legal use of technology. I’m actually pretty baffled by the whole thing lol, it is my first time hearing about a pregnant man. Well, I guess the legal issue has to do with my morals and ethics also. I don’t think we should be spending our time and money and effort to find out if a man can really be able to give birth. I think we must focus on cures for diseases, such as cancer and diabetes and others. These unlike pregnancies, are actual problems that need to be solved. I mean hey, finding out if a man can really have a baby would be awesome, no doubt about that, but it won’t really help others. clickThis link is a yahoo blog type thing similar to this one and it has people’s views on a pregnant man.
Is this ethical use of technology ?
Is it a legal use of technology ?
Is it a moral use of technology ?
I now he is pregnant but idk i think it is wierd. Just becouse it can be done doesn't mean they should be done. What is the effect going to be on that child? I consider myself to be open minded but this is kind of too much. I think it can't be illegal but it definately isn't moral.

He is pregnant, but he techinically isnt a man. I think that the technology of donating sperm and stuff is ethical...but donating it to a "man" is a little strange and there are more important things to be taken care of. This is legal, . I understand that they really want a baby, but i dont think that making a spectacle of this is very moral. Having "men" do that now...just seems really strange, but if he really wants a baby then go for it i guess.

Ninja here! (Birthday tomorrow)
First of all, no matter how the law may perceive this individual, I do NOT believe that this is a man by any stretch of imagination. It is one this to change sex organs, but to keep them and call yourself the opposite gender is incorrect. Therefore I will be referring to this "man" as a woman for the rest of this post.
Now do I think this "woman" is really pregnant? I guess so. I don't see why it's not possible for a "woman" to have a child.
Is it ethical or practical? NO! You're going against the way nature set up us humans so that the FEMALE should have the child. Though why am I complaining? I mean, it IS a WOMAN. But why are we using technology to get a woman pregnant and turn around saying she's a man and that this is the first man pregnant. I see absolutely no use for this in the future.
Legal? I guess. It's a free country. People do odd things with the technology of today.
Moral? Same thing as the ethical explanation. Don't go against nature.

In my opinion i do not believe this man is really pregnant. I do not believe he is pregnant, because i dont believe he is really a man. I do not see how you can possibly consider someone a man who has female reproductive organs. Im not quite sure on how i feel about this being ethical and moral, because, like i said, i believe this "man" is a woman, so if you follow that philosophy then its just a women having a baby. But for these purposes i think this is extremely unnatural anyway you look at it, and it is not the way God intended it to be. I do however think it is perfectly legal, it is exclusively his/her choice and he/she has every right to be pregnant.

Yes i do believe that man is pregnant. Well its impossible for a man to be pregnant unless he was previously a women and still had female organs.( I know he is pregnant because he was on Oprah.) No i dont think this is an ethical use of technology because its always been the woman gets pregnant while the man does the impregnating. It is a legal use of technology but very expensive and really i think it shouldn't be used. i dont think its moral because how will the child feel when all of his/her friends are born by their mother and he/she was born by the father. I think it's embarrassing. I would not want to be that child.

This "man", that's pregnant, is not at all shockling to me. It is not actually a man except for the fact that it had a breast reduction and testosterone treatments. I don't think it's moral or ethical because it is changing the way god created this person. If she wanted to marry a woman that's one thing, but to change your sex cosmeticaklly and then say that you're the first man pregnant is just wrong to me. I can't se ehow this would be illegal at all though because it is a woman no matter what anyone says, it may appear to be a man, but it is not.

hey tink! So I do believe this man is pregant. eventho he has woman genetics he is a man. This is his peference so power to him. He has the guts to be the first pregnant man go him. but the only thing is, no offense guys, i believe that if a man with male genetics was ever to get pregnant that he would not be able to handle it. So yes i think this is moral, ethical and legal.

In my opinion, this person is pregnant. I do beleive that there is a fetus in the person, but I would not classify the person as being a man. If the person does not have male reproductive parts, how can it be considered a man? Just because his facial features look like a man, does not make him a man. I do not think that this is an important use of technology. I think that their are more important issues and men do not need to be having babies. I would not say that it is illegal, just a waste. I thing it is immoral, guys should not have babies, it is just too wierd of a thought.
I do not consider this as a man being pregnant as this person is naturally a female and has ovaries. Even though this person is legally a man, sex change is unnatural.
I don't see why there would be an ethical problem of whether this is right or wrong. Certainly this person does have rights and freedom. It is certainly not wrong, it is just an extraordinary situation.
Legally there is not a problem with this. If that person wants to get pregnant what is stopping them?
Morally, I believe this is a way of time and money for all this hype about the topic. Seeing as this is by God, a woman, they are not the first pregnant man, men have no ovaries.

i think this man could be pregnant because yes he is legally a man, but he was born a woman, && he supposedly still has all his female sex organs so its possible. i dont think this is an ethical use of technology because getting a man pregnant isnt important...lets conquer world hunger, cancer, leukemia <<< those are more important. I dont think its illegal to get a man pregnant, its kinda weird though....=]] I dont think this a moral use of technology because why focus on one man getting pregnant when you could help hundreds, thousands, or millions of people with one discovery?!Mr. Lee Mingwei !!!!!!
in my opinion this man isn't really pregnant. Its really a woman so i do not really count that a being really a man. i guess its an ethical use of technology. people can do whatever they want to do. i am pretty sure that its a legal use of technology? i do not think that it is a moral use of technology. In my opinion, the "man" is not pregnant. However, the human is and I think he should be considered a woman. It is not an ethical use of technology. Yes it's legal. No it's not moral.
yeah, i think that the man is really pregnant. However, he wasn't born a man, he was born a female...and he's still got his female reproductive organs. so therefore, i would have to say that he's still a woman based on biology...but based on what he looks like, he can be considered a male, and i guess legally he is too. i dont think its ethical because its very unusual and kind of creepy. it is legal, i suppose, because its just like giving a real woman invitro in order to let her have a baby. i definately dont think its moral, because when that baby grows up, everyone is going to know it as the kid whose dad was pregnant...and thats just embarressing and i think its humiliating for the child!
