I do believe that people should not smoke if they live in an apartment. The nieghbors could be influenced by the second hand smoke and if they already have bad lungs that could be deadly. If you want to smoke buy a regular house, it isnt fair to the poeple living next to you. Or they could make smoking apartments.

I think having a hydrogen fuel station is a good step in the fight against global warming. All we need to do is get a few more of these and car companies will be able to start selling there hydrogen powered cars. So that means zero emissions into our atmosphere.
Hydrogen Fueling Stations
this site explains the benefits of hydrogen cars and how there fueling stations will work.

i feel that the vatican's new laws are uncalled for. i can understand why they would try and tell people that these isues are bad. but making them sins is way over the line. i don't believe they should have the right to tell people what to do in that way.

i think what the parents did to their daughter was definatly wrong and unethical. It seems as though they're looking to make thier own life easier in not having to go through with their daughter what all parents have to do with their normal children. I also chose to talk about the hydrogen fuel station. i think if it works in an effiecent way it should definatley be adopted as an aletrnative to gasoline. Because its not gasoline anymore that means there are no toxic emissions. I think that the price to pay should be very minimal if at all. It would take work to make the station and pumps so maybe a small charge.I think that this is a big step into finding a cleaner way of transportation. This Site talks about the future of hydrogen use and if people will accept it.

I think the fuel station in White Plains is a great step in helping the environment. Right now it won't do much, considering the price of the new vehicles that run on hydrogen. Eventually, though, I think more and more companies with catch on to the idea, and these cars will become more affordable. Also, I like the idea of giving some out to the public. This will expose the cars and gain interest from people. Hopefully, these cars will eventually be owned by most drivers in the world.

Hydrogen Car At Oscars

This article is about Cameron Diaz's hydrogen car. She arrived at the Ocsar's in her hydrogen car. The writer loves the idea of the hydrogen car and hopes that these cars will be affordable to all people someday.

I can't believe what Ashley's parents did to their child. They just decided to stop her growth and denied her the human right to become an adult. The doctor who treated her even commited suicide!! How can they say it wasn't related?
Giving her a hysterectomy to stop her growth was illegal and a violation of human rights. How could the doctor accept? She had every right to grow up and the parents should have just tried to accept it.
Human Rights
This website is about the universal declaration of human rights and if you read them, you can realize that Ashley's parents have violated many of them.

welll i think..

that the vatican is way outa line... in a way, i feel that they are a classic expample of being drunk with power ya know? like i dont know, i dont think that anyone has the power to tell people what they can and cannot do, well i understand murder is allowed, but not stuff like this. if it were a sin wouldnt god say so? not these old men in a building? and its not like they were expressing how they felt and making suggestions they were saying that your going to go to hell if you do it? thats wack.

for the hydrogen cars..
there are more then a couple cars..
"Those vehicles include three Toyota Prius hybrids that run on electricity and hydrogen rather than the electricity and gasoline that power mainstream hybrids. Two Chevrolet fuel-cell pickup trucks — one runs solely on hydrogen, the other on a combination of hydrogen and compressed natural gas " and also there is a hydrogen bmw i think.. so we are a lot closer to this technology then we think, i think.

remember links guys =/

I think it is a good idea to put a hydrogen fuel station in white plains. It will show us the potential of this new fuel which we will need inthe future. One of the concerns about new types of uel was that how are we going to get it everywhere. By testing out stations now, we wont have as much problems when we start creating stations around the world. We will be able to work out the problems in the system, which will help us in the long run.

Click Here Talks abouit how hydrogen stations are still in progress, it will take us a few years at least to be able to do this effectively.

I feel that these "new sins" are very strange. I understand that those in the Vatican would object to cloning and "destruction" of human embryos. The fact that they are extremely religious has a great deal to do with this. I can understand why they would be against it, because it is immoral in their perspective due to the fact that God created human and how we are as he wants us. On the other hand I also think calling pollution is sin maybe a tad too much. Everyone knows that they should not do it but sometimes it occurs by accident. I think that these "new sins" were made for a cause but not necessarily the right ones.

I think many of the new laws the Vadtican announced should be more of a suggestion than a sin. I understand why they decided to make something like polluting a sin because it hurts everybody, but really people have no choice. Most people get to work in a car that pollutes the air. They have no other option. However, I see their view on such things like cloning because God creates life.

i think smokers should still be allowed to smoke in thier apartement...if that's what the landlord allows. Smokers still have their rights even though they might have a nasty habit. Secondhand smoke is definetly harmful to people around smokers. I think that the best solution to this problem is have apartments where smoking is allowed and some that aren't. Then the people that worry about the secondhand smoke would be safer than living in an apartment where people smoked.

Smokers Rights

I think that having a hydrogen fuel station is a great idea. Although it wont do muc to help us right now because the cars are extreamly expensive and there arnt many of them. If there were more cars mor people would buy them. Anyway that we can get people to use less gas is better. These cars seem to be much better then hybrid cars and so many people have gone out to buy themselves hybrid cars. Soon if this turns out well enough people will have these cars and it will stop the pollution of our atmosphere.

this site shows was a fuel cell is and what it can do.

I personally think that it is mandatory that perscription drugs should be affordable, for everyone that is. I think that drugs that are 100,000 dollars are absolutely ridiculous and for people that can not afford it, what are they supposed to do? Are they supposed to suffer from their illness because of their financial disability. Cutting the doses in half is an excellent idea. The article stated the having half the dose is just as effective as having the whole dose, without the cost. I think that to have change, arguements are going to occur. It is a fact of life. And most definitely, with the cost of living, it is worth the fight to lessen the cost of prescription drugs.

I read the article about the Hydrogen Fuel station now open in the White Plains. This one of the city to release this new hydrogen source of fuel for the use of cars. This new source of energy big attraction is that it releases no pollution to the planet at all. These cars look very attractive to anyone who wants to conserve our planet and is able to spend $90,000. In about 5 years, GM will take this car model main stream and mass produce these cars. I think this is a great project to save fossil fuel and looks to be a successful alternative energy source of the polluting gas we use now. Though I would like to find out how much money the sell the hydrogen for.

H2 and You
This site shows us ways that hydrogen already is and soon will be very active in our lives.

I believe that a person should be able to do what they want in their apartment. However when its affecting others in the same appartment building then they should not. If they want to smoke so bad then they need to go somewhere else. Its not right to give someone secondhand smoke in their apartment when they do not want it. So every time you smoke they have to leave to not be affected by it. People that smoke should be able to smoke where they want though its their freedom. So they should make like special apartments for smokers.

smoke free consultant
People who do not want smoke in their apartment should ask for a smoke-free apartment.

Vatican Lists "New Sins," Including Pollution

I think this article was very good. I think that it is a good idea to list new, modern sins. Modern times are different than "back in the day" and i think that religion needs to keep up with the times. The fact that the Vatican is "going green" is very cool. I think that helping the enviornment and keeping things energy and cost efficient is a necessity. I really enjoyed this story.

I couldn't find one to support my view soo, heres a blog i found BLOG

I think that if you choose to live in an apartment building, you should be able to live in a smoke-free environment. Smoke can travel, and when it does, it can linger into other's apartments. It instantly becomes that person's problem, because now they're dealing with secondhand smoke. Sure, it may be "inconvenient" to smokers, but it could also save lives. But really, if you wanted to smoke inside your own home without a problem, you could definitely just buy your own house and smoke inside it 24/7! Otherwise, it's definitely a problem. When people finally decide to consider banning smoking in apartment buildings, it may be too late; people could already by suffering and dying from lung cancer and birth defects.

I dont think what ashleys parents did to her is right. I dont think they want to do whats best for her but what is easier for them. I dont think they wanted to deal with the problems of having a disabled kid and having her go through the things that normal girls have to go through. Even though they think it is right i think they should have some consequence for making their daughter live like she does. This site is about a blog posted by others about how they feel the treatment is

I think that smoking should not be allowed in apartments. If smoking is not allowed in apartments it may lead to more people quitting and a healthier group for people will be living in the U.S. If land lords have a need to let people smoke in their appartments then they should section off a part of the building to just smokers, kind of like a hotel. I personaly do not think that smoking should be allowed in appartments for the health of not only the smoker but the others around them. Second hand smoke if a killer and there is no need for people to be getting sick and dieing because of second hand smoke.

sorry I forgot a link. This is a link about a city that is limiting the smoking in aprartments. Click Here

i think that people should definately not smoke in an apartment complex. the reason for this is if you smoke and your neighbor has bad lungs it can prove deadly. also if you have healthy lungs it certainly wont be good to breath in second hand smoke. What if someone is trying to quit smoking. It would be really hard to do that if they had to breath your smoke everyday.

I think that the hydrogen fuel is a really good idea. It is helpful for when we run out of gasoline. There will be new cars of course, but it will be worth it. It will also help out our atmosphere and global warming. So hydrogen fuel stations/cars are just a great thing to have.

i dont think that the vatican has the right to just come up with "new sins" i understand trying to stop people from doing it but how are people going to follow "gods" word when he's just making up stuff. i would just be like wow this guy thinks he's god and not follow along.

I do believe that people should smoke if they live in an apartment.I mean its the land lord that should make the decision. Second hand smoke can be very harmful but I think its the peoples choice. I think the best solution could be by making some apartments for smokers and some for non smokers. This way everyone wins!

There is no such thing as new sin....no one has the right make up sin. The vatican's laws are weird. They can tell people what is right and what is wrong but they can't say that it is a sin. If it was a sin then it would had been mentioned in the bible or any other holy books.

i couldn't really find a sute related to this article but this site has people discussing if they are sins or not.

good morning !

I definitely believe that hydrogen stations will greatly impact the world in the near future, even if they only seem to be for the super rich now'a'days. It's a great start for future generations. Right now, we have to start getting more of these stations set up and make hydrogen cars more avaliable to the public. I've read recently that the Honda FCX Clarity will be ready for lease in the summer of 2008. Hopefully by the summer of 2012 or even 2010, the public will be able to buy one of these cars for almost the same price as regular cars are right now... That is, if they haven't already bought one. =]

Hi, Hydrogen Honda!

oops forgot the blog friday :(

This is on the hydrogen station article:

WEll, my first reaction when I saw this article was, "Yeayy someone decided to do something about fuel emissions!! Weeeeee!!" If White Plains was a person instead of a place, I'd give them a big hug because they're the ones who are breaking new ground in the quest for new fuel sources before anyone else. More people should take steps like this; for example, they could open test stations in other places to see how the cars would perform in different environments. I was also thinking about pi's question about prices the other day. There would inevitably be some cost, since someone has to gather the hydrogen, then transport it, and the station would want some profits as well. It would definitely be sheaper than importing oil, though.

Talks about how stations are in operation and they're working on a way to fuel hydrogen cars at home

i chooses the smokers one. i agree with the people with the baby it is unfair to others to continue letting smokers smoke in you buliding. personally idk why the landlord allows it, smoking destroys your home. like staining the walls yellow, the stench will be almostly permanitily etched into the walls. also if you have smokers why is it not a risk such as what if the smoker falls asleep with a lit cigarette and bruns down your apartment? now i am not ashamed to say that i am a smoker but h e double hockey sticks i will not put someones else baby at risk much less the parents to fed my own addiction. yes it is an addiction but you are not powerless. ppl can smoke out doors, live in a privite house, or even put in an exaust fan and limit smoking to the area closets to teh fan.
