My stand on this issue is that more research is needed on this topic. I feel that this study will decrece cell usage only a small amount. I also do not think that this is an immediate threat. I under stand that the radiation emmited by cell phones can be harmful but I feel that many scientests are exagerating their claims such as increcing the risk of brain cancer by 5 times. However I do not think it is a good idea for young chindren to be using cell phones. They are young and very vulnerable to diseases and the radiation is able to affect more of a childs brain. Overall I think that we should keep an eye on cell phones, look into ways to decrece or iliminate the threat of radiation from cell phones but most of all continue reasearch.

I think that more research is neecessary in order to makes such claims on this topic. With recent cliams I believe cell phone usage won't decrease rather change how they transport with the device or how close they hold it to their head. A claim believes that cell phones affect the quality of sperm. Most men carry there cellular devices in their pockets and a recent test has shown that this causes sperm quality to decrease including motility and viability. I can see the radiation causig problems for men, especially young boys- the ones using cell phones constantly. Though cell phones are a necessity in today's generation future tests should be held before men change their cell phone ways.

Much more research is needed to be conducted for me to have a true opinion. In time cell phones might cause problems in some people, but it also depends on the person. I don't like the dependency people have on their cell phones, and hope that one day I will not really need one to survive. I think people should as a precaution limit their cell fone use and try to use the speaker featuyre as much as possible. I think that I would need to have more insite in the cell phone topic before I made up my opinion.I think that if it is proven that cell phones premote cancer, alot of people will try to avoid useing them and swich to house phones once again.I think that it is scary knowing that radiation is given off my cell phones. I dont think it is a high dosage but if it's enough to hurt you, id rather not take the chance.If it hurts kids 13 or older i deffnatly think that kids younger then 13 should not use one, since there brains are still grown and more susseptable to things then older people.I think that if you must use your cell phone to get information across texting for younger kids, and older people alike would be much safer since the accual phone would not be as close to your brain. In conclusion I think that scientists should keep doing tests on cell phone usage and the effects it has on the brain.

My stand on this issue is further testing, and results is needed to make a provenfact on the cell phone issue. However i do agree that giving young children cell phones is not entirely a good idea. Yes, it is good for emergencies, but small children are more vulnerable to the electromagnetic waves the phones transmit. This can affect their brains, and possibly out them at higher risk for tumors, and brain complications. This is true for adults and teenagers too. Teenagers who begin extensive cell phone use are at a five times greater risk to develope glioma, a central nervous system tumor. Many people share this same stand. It is being researched as a scientific fact. Overall however, i think continued research is necessary for this topic. However until a conclusion is made i would incourage cell phone users to get headsets, of put the phone on speaker whilre talking. This may reduce the intense waves.

I agree with the website about brain cancer. Cell phones are useful tools and cool to have but obviously cell phones are the cause of these major health issues. People have lived without cell phones for thousands of years and ended up perfectly fine. But today cell phones are taking over and causing many problems. They are not needed and cause life threatening diseases. What's the good in that? Of course there could be more research but I think that the percentage of brain cancer would definitely go down if we stopped cell phone usage.

I feel the same way about this topic as most of my class mates do. There needs to be more research on a topic such as this. I don't find it extremely threatening. I can see that so many people are hooked on to them which is very concerning but I dont think it can be major causes of cancers. Yet children shouldnt be introduced to cell phones at such a early age. They are still developing and are very sensitive to things like radiation. There needs to be more research and I have a feeling many people will be looking more into this by the days. To leave off, I feel they aren't the cause of diseases like tumors. My feeling on the topic of cell phones is this. Cell phones are a big part of peoples lives. They are used to text, send pictures and videos, to listen to music, look at email, and much more. If cell phones cause the risk of cancer and brain tumors, then why are people still using them? There isn't enough information about this topic to fully stop using cell phones. People wouldn't want to risk there lives by talking on the phones so they would certainly stop using the phones if it could cost them theirs lives. I know i would! Also some kids, as young as the age of seven, are getting cell phones. There is no real need for kids below the age of 10 or older i think. Also, cell phones are becoming more of a necesity than anything else.

I feel that since cell phone use is relatively new technology that more research is necessary to find ir cell phones can cause brain tum ors. I feel that cell phones are now a necessary part of life and need to be used today for communication purposes. I also feel that cell phone use should be monitored since the amount of radiation emited can depend on the number of calls you make and the duration of the calls. Although I do not think that cell phone usage is the top reason for brain cancer in children, I believe that more research is needed to know for sure. Although it may be partly scientific research, I think some of it may have been twisted to sound worse to create propaganda. I also think that as most children under twelve do not have any reason to require a cell phone so this should not be a problem for most people because it should not occur in my opinion. Cell phones are over used in the world today. Although I do enjoy the luxury of having a cell phone I know that I do not need it often if at all but in case of an emergency it is a good thing to have. I feel that not many people will stop using cellphones even if they read articles about the radiation possibly causing cancer. Parents may give cellphones to their children at a later age though. I feel that to make a proper claim a lot more research should be done. As of now I do somewhat agree that it could be causing brain cancer, or some form of it, because so many young people have a cell phone. A child under 12 should not be using a cell phone, it puts them at a higher risk for brain cancer. Now where ever you go, you probably see someone talking on a cell phone. To decrease the amount of radiation sent to our brains people should put down the cell phone and talk to a person in person. Twenty or so years ago people had no cell phones and none of these problems existed. If people back then didn't have a cell phone, then we should use ours less.

I think that cell phones can be good and bad. I do believe that more research is needed in order for this to become a major issue, but I also thinks that it makes sense. I also think that there has not been enough tests or direct links to prove that cell phones are causing any type of cancer. If more research was done on the topic, I would support it. Also, regular household objects submit such as alarm clocks and computers emit electromagnetic radiation and nothing was ever brought up about those issues. My stand on the this issue is that cell phones can cause brain cancer. Cell phones, like many other electronic devices emit harmful radiation when used. This radiation could cause the development of brain tumors and/or brain cancer. In todays world many kids,teenagers,and adults own cell phones. Also in todays world many use them to socialize, for business and to exchange information. I think this is a serious issue that must be delt with by doing more research and anylizing more data.

In the website "urge for more research into cell phone cancer" they say that the cause of cancer can be linked to cell phone; however it could also be linked to many things. It should not be realsed to the public that cell phones cause cancer until it is physically proven. If cell phones did cause cancer then more then like 70% of the population would have caner. I think that before anyone changes their daily rountine we need to see proof.

My opinion on cell phones is that they are not a necessity, and that they have only come to seem as though they are with each step toward advancement. They are helpful in some situations, but if we just put some more telephone booths up I think people could survive without their phones. Research is being done as to whether or not cell phones can affect sperm quality in males by being in their pockets. This case is not yet fact, but it is something to take into consideration. Before we know it, no one is going to be able to produce healthy children and that will be the end of our human exsistence! Maybe I'm getting too ahead of this issue, but I do see it is a problem for later on in our lives.

My stand on the issue of cell phones is that they have to do more research to prove that they truyly cause brain tumors. Cell phones are a basic necessity these days and if these claims were actually proven, I think it would be very hard for people to get rid of theirs. Parents are giving their kids cell phones at a very young age and could be hurting them in the long run. Most people carry their cell phone in their front pocket, which can cause low motility of sperm(obviously just for men.) I personally would like to have kids some day, and if this is true, I would have to take some serious consideration into getting rid of my cell phone.

I feel that more research is needed on the topic. I would want to know if this theory has ever actually happened to anybody and if it was caused by cell phones. The article says that children and teenagers who are using cell phones are 5 times likely to get brain cancer. It also says that people who started using cell phones in their 20 are 2 times likely. I think that this topic could be considered both propoganda and scientific fact if more facts are proved. I think that we should look into this more and that we should study the radiation, if at all, given off by cell phones.

I think that much more research needs to be done on the topic of cell phones’ negative affect on people. It is possible that using your cell phone too much can cause damage to younger children. This because the cell phones do give off a certain amount of radiation, which is bad for anybody’s health. I think that kids under 12 shouldn’t use cell phones too much because they’re still growing. The research so far states that the radiation can damage the brain and cause tumors. Although this may be true, there needs to be a lot more research on the topic. I think that this topic is mostly done for scientific reasons. There must have been a problem with the phones to begin with if they started to do research on it.
