X-tra Credit Blog ! (5 points)

From RCK Green Works:
As Christmas comes quickly around the corner, only one question remains. And no, it’s not “What will Santa leave in my stocking?” It revolves around Christmas trees. While some people opt to put up their tree after Thanksgiving, other people like to buy their tree late to get a feel of the holiday rush.
The first thing a person thinks is, “Should I buy a real tree or an artificial tree?” As they dwindle on that thought, they start getting flustered on which tree would better the environment. A real tree is recyclable, but because they are farmed as an agricultural product, a large amount of pesticides are used. An artificial tree will last a long time, but the chemicals that made the tree damage the environment.
The topic: Would you rather buy a real tree or a fake tree?
The requirements:
1. In a minimum of 5 sentences, pick a stand point and defend your position.
2. Your reasoning must include a fact that can be supported with a LINK. No repeats please (this includes the facts above).
3. What kind of tree do you currently have? Does this blog affect your view?
4. Go Here and post any eco-friendly facts on the entry. Again, no repeats.
** Bonus: (2 points) Name some eco-friendly gifts. Make sure you say why it is good for the environment!
