I think that Ronald should use the new genetically modified version of corn. It will be a lot easier to use and he could make a lot more money. Farmers are going through hard times these days. They should take any offer they can get to earn more money. It will also prevent any animals killing and eating the plants which would be great.

I think that Ronald should not used the genetically altered corn. Although there are some great advantages to using that corn, there are disadvantages. Ronald is understanding and realizes that what we use today also effects us in the future. Ronald would use much more pesticides that normal corn. All the pesticides would seep into the soil and spell disaster for years to come. All though bugs a a pain, some bugs are good and help. The pesticides don't know what bugs are good are bad and just kill them all.

I think that Ronald should not genetically modify his crops. There is a lot going on around now that enforces natural being the best thing for people to consume and they all listen to it. If they were to know that their food is being modified like this it could lead to less sales, as well as there being a risk for eating modified food. The reason for not gaining a larger profit does not have to do with pesticides and insects, it has to do with the transportation of food and politics. The crops that I grow in my own backyard are fine without being genetically modified, so why can't these companies' crops be?

I think Ronald should plant genetically modified version of crop. One reason is because these plats are disease resistance.
There are many viruses, fungi and bacteria that cause plant diseases. Plant biologists are working to create plants with genetically-engineered resistance to these disease. In the new genetically version of plants it is able to tolerate cold temperatures that normally would kill unmodified seedlings. Plus, as said the economical time is hard right now so if Ronald can save money then he should.

I think that Ronald should use regular corn that has not been genetically modified. Altough genetically modified crops could help his sales and cut his costs, itr will damage the earth. The extra pesticides will spread throughout the atomsphere and damage it more than it already has. Also, if Ronald and other farmers get carried away, they could kill more "pests" than is good. Some "pests" can help more than most people realize. If too many of them are killed, it might start a chain, endangering other animals, such as their predators.

I think that ronald should use the new genetically modified version of corn. Since he will be able to spray more pesticides, he would be saving the food from so animals that could eat it. Also after reasearching it i found out that genetically modified food tastes better and it would have a longer shelf life. Since times are harder right now for him, letting the food last longer could help him get more money. Because times are harder for him now, any simple way to save money and earn more money is what he should do.

I think Ronald should not use the corn. The fact the exact effects of this new corn is uknown should be reason enough. This can affect us in the future and what if in the future it causes a harmful genetic alteration to humans. It doesn't make sense to risk the environment and human health for a few extra bucks. I think Ronald is right to be thinking about how this can affect the world.

I think that Ronald should not use genetically modified corn. The corn may not have been tested with the long term effects and could end up killing the corn. If he has the genetically modified corn, he will spray more of the pesticides because of the increase in production; but he will end up hurting the environment even more. The genetically modified corn is a bad idea because the product will not be as good of a quality and could end up being harmful to the buyers. The corn could end up causing allergies and other health risks in the future.

I do not think Ronald should use the modiefied corn. It may seem look like a good idea at the moment, but the future will be left unsure. Who knows, maybe the corn can be dangerous to us or kill plants in the long run. It does sound like a good idea to prevent animal killings. Yet I would run tests to make sure it was okay and safe.

I feel that Ronald should not grow genetically modified corn. There could very well be long term effects, hazardous to humans as mentioned. Im mildly certain that most people would not risk their health in this knew, unknown technology. I also feel it would be unfair to do this just so the farmer could gain more profit. Though I also think at the same time it would be helpful because the pests would not eat the animals.

I think Ronald should plant regular corn. I do not think it is right to use the new genetically modified version of corn. This is because pesticides are already harming out planet. If he uses this corn, more pesticides will potentially seep into the earth, or poison humans. This seems dangerous to me, and i also do not like the fact that it will kill so many insects, including ones that do not harm the crops in the first place. However, I do think it is good that the corn is disease resistant, and that it will save him money. However in my opinion it is a bad idea.

I think that Ronald should plant the regular corn because if he sold it to some scientific company, then they could modify the pesticide so it would kill some pests and not the corn or the environment. This is also a working farm so Ronald has lower taxes than the rest of us so he should try to help the environment instead of himself.

I think that this man, Ronald, should use the genetically modified version of corn. He would have a much better chance of making money. Who knows? That might not even be in his mind. Its gonna be eaisier to use and its saving our planet. Its saving the animals from any animal killings and from any animals from eating the plants, which could contaminate our food.

I feel Ronald should not use the genetically modified version of the corn. Even though the pesticides would give him greater profits, the use of pesticides can be dangerous. I feel there is not enough information on the risk of using pesticides to take the chance of endangering others. In children, the use of pesticides can be especially dangerous. The use of pesticides has caused problems in the nervous system and problems with growth.

I think ronald should not use genetically modified corn. I think he shouldn't use the corn because if it allows him to use more pesticides more pesticides will end up in our food. The pesticides will also leak into the soil contaminating it for many years to come. Also genetically modified food is a fairly new thing so we don't know if there are any potentially harmful things about it. An example of a harmful thing would be introducing a gene of a nut into another plant and a person having an allergic reaction to it because they didn't know that gene was in the plant.

I think tha Ronald should not use the genteically modified version of corn. Even though Ronald would be able to make more money, I don't think that a couple extra dollars is worth the damage that the pesticides would do. If the pesticides got into the ground it could ruin his future crops and ruin the farm. If that happened Ronald would have no income because a farmer cannot grow crops without fertile soil. I think that ROnald has to decide if taking the risk for some extra money this year is worth possibly losing his crops for good. Also, if too many bugs are killed from these pesticides it could throw off the food chain and with time harm everyone around him. Making a few extra dollars is not worth hurting the environment or harming other animals and people.

I think that Ronald should grow regular corn. Everyone would be sure that the corn is not harmful to anyone eating it. Ronald probably does not know any of the negative effects that come from this. The pesticides that are used could also effect his water as all the pesticides are absorbed into the ground. Ronald could always get a break and maybe there won't be any bugs when he goes to plant his crops.

I think that genetically modified corn is fine. Corn does not occour naturally anyway so what is the difference if we modify it. The only problem is the increce in pesticdes to kill animals. This is the only bad point.

Oops for to include ronold. I think he should use the modified corn. I think this because I do not think that a little extra pestides is going to affect the insect population that much. Besides the eco system will replenish the missing links.
I think that Ronald should do some research on the genetically modified corn. Then if there aren't debilitating repercussions from using the corn he should use it. If there are some unknowns about the corn I still think he should use it as long as what's known and theorized about its effects aren't bad. Using a corn that's resistant to insecticides can be very useful. When I lived in Idaho we grew some corn but bugs kept getting on it too much so we had to stop growing it.

I think that Ronald should run new tests before he trys the new genetically modified version of corn. It does kill insects and other pests, but not the plant. What is that doing to the plant , possibly hurting you. I think this new idea should wait for more research and then go from there. Like mosat genetically made foods this product might be more expensive for the consumer, so how is this helping the everyday man?

I don’t think that Ronald should use the genetically modified corn. It has many advantages, but in the long run, there will be many disadvantages. There are also health risks for some insects. Butterflies are getting high mortality rates because of the pollen coming off of certain corns. Although bugs that are harmful to the modified corn, people are beginning to worry that some bugs will become immune to it and there will be no point in having it in the first place. The genetically modified corn may also kill off bugs that help it.

I don't Ronald should use the genetically modified corn. At first it might be great. He grows more crop and ears more money. The long term effects of the genetically modified could be disastrous. The pesticides would be absorbed into the soil causing the earth much harm. The pesticide also kills pests that aren't even bad for his crops. If he just plants regular corn, he could do well without harming the earth.

i think that Ronald should not use the new version of the corn. pesticides can be toxic to humans and other animals. even though he might bring in much more crops they might not be as natural and health to eat. the pesticide can also damage the ground killing things such as the worms that help the ground and making it worse in the future.

i think ronald should not use the new bacteria. it would be beneficial for him but defenetly not good for the environment. he could kill innocent animals that happen to live close to the crops or a river runs with the pestisides and the animals, well they X_X <- bad farmer!!

i don't think that Ronald should use the new genetically grown corn; although it seems good now we really don't know how it will effect us in a couple of years. We don't know if it is good for our health or the environment. WE also do not know any of the side effects either. i feel this should be thuroughly tested before we think about using it world wide.

i think the farmer should plant the geneticaly altered corn. i think this because the out put would be more and more money from the product. in the future when the market colapses the farmer will have money to fall back on. if he chooses the other corn he might not good a good out put and could go bankrupt.
