Perfect Baby or Franken Baby?

The LA Fertility Institutes, Dell, and other companies are beginning to customize babies this summer using PGD technology.
When you "customize" your kids you basically order them online. At the site you can choose your babies eye color, hair color, height, build, and even skin color for around 3000$. This is achieved through a complex process called genetic screening.
This obviously raises some very serious questions on the ethics of the situation. Many people feel that it is wrong that people would want to create their own "perfect race of babies" and that these small differences are what can make us unique.
Adding to this startling possibility is that scientists are trying to find ways to control athletic ability and IQ. This could be an upsetting prospect because now any achievement is possible. This would be because your parents designed you that way.
However some think this can erase hereditary diseases such as cancer.
