The Heterotrph Hypothesis and Natural selection are different in their proposals to the way life began. The former proposal is that all life evolved out of non-living elements long ago and their originlly were different life-forms. Respiration differs among plants and animals by that plants use anaerobic respiration and animals use aerobic respiration. Anaerobic respiration is the production of energy without the presence of oxygen. Anaerobic respiration occurs in some yeasts and bacteria, and in muscle tissue during strenuous exercise when there is insufficient oxygen. Aerobic respiration is the breakdown of foodstuffs to create energy in the presence of oxygen. Now, my question is what is negative feedback?

The role of the human endocrine system is to regulate bodily processes. The endocine glands or ductless glands do this by producing hormones. They are released into the bloodstream and goes to tissues to exert an effect. The system helps maintain homeostasis and makes slow long lasting adjustments.

A skeletal muscle is on a bone, they are striated and are under voluntary movement. A smooth muscle is in digestive organs, diaphram, arteries, veins, other organs and are involuntary. The cardiac muscles are involuntary but are in the heart.

Three things that affect enzyme rate are temperature , cofactors , and pH . Temperature affects enzyme rates because a higher temperature allows for a higher kinetic ebergy , which creates a faster reaction . However , if the temperature is too high the reaction will no longer occur because the enzyme becomes denatured . The highest temperature for the enzyme is called the optimum temperature . Cofactors affect enzyme reaction because some enzymes will not show full activity unless they interact with other molecules . Lastly , pH affects enzyme reaction because pH affects the ionic bonds , but the enzymes work best at optimal pH .

this is an addition... not a correction... i would call "cofactors" CoEnzymes, and the concentration of substrate also has an affect on reaction rate. graph Re: substrate cocentration

The liver is so important to our body for many reasons. One reason is that it excretes many harmful chemicals. This is very important so we don’t die, basically. Another reason it’s so important is that it stores fats, sugars, iron, and vitamins for the body to use later on. Neurons are otherwise known as nerves cells and are the basic structures in the nervous systems of all multicellular animals. They can send electrical and chemical impulses. A nerve cell is normally made up of three basic parts: a cell body, dendrites, and an axon. The cell body contains the nucleus and the cell organelles. The right side of the heart receives de-oxygenated blood from body tissue through the inferior and superior Vena Cava. The blood is then passed from the right atrium through the tricuspid valve into the right ventricle. Blood is then pumped into the lungs from the pulmonary artery. The left side of the heart receives oxygenated blood from the lungs through the pulmonary veins into the left atrium. The blood passes in to the left ventricle via the bicuspid valve.
