I think this type of killing is ethical. Yes, i would feel bad for my loved ones if they were infected but if they were trying to kill me wouldn't it be better to survive? They are already infected and cant get much worse but if you are still alive and there is hope for you i think you should defend yourself and try to stay alive and healthy. Also they are not technically still themselves so its not really killing your loved ones your killing the infection.

I feel that zombie killing is ethical. Zombies are no longer humans they are just blood-thirsty walking demons in human bodies. They do not have a soul and therefore they are dead and killing them will end their misery. Zombies need to be either killed or cured so the infection cannot continue to manifest and spread. The only argument against not killing zombies is respect for the dead. Yes, that is important but when it comes down to it the suceptible human would rather have their life than still have the zombie in one piece. Hopefully, a full blown zombie infestation will never occur. But if it does I'm going to be in my house with a baseball bat worrying about how I'm going to survive rather than how I can respect whatever is left of the infected human bodies.

I thnk this type of killing may be considered ethical but i do not agreee that these "zombies" should be held acountable for their strange behavior. Although if someone was tring to kill me, i would do anything possible to say alive. It is my duty to defend myself before someone causes harm to me. Zombies should be eigther killed or cured somehow so they do not continue to harm inocent human beings.

I believe that this type of killing is ethical. If i zombie was coming to kill my family, friends, and boyfriend, I'd keep running. I'd want to live thank you very much. That's like the most ridiculous way of dying. I don't believe in zombie's. I believe in ghosts, but zombies not so much. I think that killing a zombie is ethical. A zombie is the body of a dead person given the appearance of life, but mute and will-less, by a some kind of force. Therefore the laws of murder do not apply to them because they are not of the human race but of something totally different. If a zombie infection were ever to occur I would probably want it to stop by all of the zombies being killed. If the infection were to happen I don't think anyone would care if they were killing something, but instead they would want to find a good hiding spot.

Yes i believe this type of killing is ethical. I think this is ethical because if a zombie was coming at me i would kill it as self defence. Since they are already dead, it is not technically killing them, it is putting them out of their misery.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!(I guess you know what I put for the poll now..) Yes, I think killing zombies is moral and ethical. If a zombie tried to gobble down some of my flesh I would go ninja on its butt. However, I wouldn't blame them for trying to eat me, no matter how odd it sounds. They don't know it's wrong; they're just hungry! Anyways, I'd feel bad after the invasion, if humanity survived. Hopefully, I won't be put in that position anytime soon. :-)

I agree with Mary that I would feel bad if it was someone I knew but I don't care who you are if you are trying to eat me I will kick your zombie bootayyyy. Zombies are'nt humans biologically anymore so killing them is not so bad. If they are not humans it is not considered murder. Right?

I believe that this type of killing is ethical. You are trying to perserve humanity not trying to figure out what the zombie is thinking. However if there was a known cure and you were still killing zombies then that might be immoral. Also you are to always to look out for yourself first and try to survive. When you kill a zombie you are stopping a small part of the spread of the infection not killing one of your friends, the bodies are just carriers of the disease.

I think that zombie killing is completely ethical. If a zombie, which is a dead, disgusting, brain hungry infection, was trying to kill me or infect me, or what ever they try to do to people, i would definitally kill it. I agree with mary that if the zombie was my loved one i would feel bad for it, but there is know hope for them, they are already infected, so i would kill them.

Killing zombies? Should this even BE a moral issue? Hello, if I was being attacked by a mob of zombies, my first reaction would NOT be "Oh, I'm sure this will all end well because zombies are just nice, loving people who have just had the misfortune of having their souls sucked out of them, or whatever it is that makes them zombies." Heck, this wouldn't be my second or third reaction either. Everything in the world is about survival, and if it's my or another person's life against a zombie's, I'll admit it's a 99.999% chance I'd vote for killing the zombie. The other 0.0001% is only if I liked the zombie better than the other person. Just kidding.

I have different views on whether zombie killing is ethical. On one side, I wouldn't let zombies just come up to me and eat me alive. On the other side, I wouldn't want to kill people who I know and are close to me. I would defend myself, but if a zombie comes out of nowhere, I would kill him/her. They are infected human-beings that believe cannabalism is
perfectly fine. They are not the people that you once knew, they are just bodies that are possesed by some supernatural "spirit."

This type of killing is absolutely ethical, no matter how creative you get. If someone was trying to kill you and eat you, wouldnt you want to kill them before they got you? Zombies really have no feelings or emotions, and if it hurts them to die, oh well... I would still feel bad if it was one of my friends or my family, because even if they are a zombie, you're still killing what used to be someone you cared about. It makes more sense tob kill a zombie,rather than do nothing and let it kill you slowly and painfully.

I think that killing a zombie is ethical. The zombie doesn't have a soul, it may take the body of a friend but that friend is really gone. Zombies are "evil" and will turn the entire human race into zombies if they aren't killed. You should defend yourself to keep yourself and probally many others from being affected and changed over. I thimk this type of killing is ethical. If I was being chased by zombies I would save myself not the zombie. It's not like their humans. If you don't want to kill them then save and cure their infection. A zombie is already dead so yes I'd kill them and then run away.

If this is the case, I've got two words for ya KILL EM!!!!! I think it is completely ethical to kill zombies (if there are actually things like that). Just think- would you rather get eaten alive or kill a "thing" that is not even alive? I would choose the latter. I value my life a lot more to just give up on. also, it is your duty to live the life that you have and keep yourself from getting killed. If you don't kill the thing that is going to eat you, it will just be like jumping down from a three story building for fun!!!!

I feel that zombie killing is ethical and fun. Zombies are undead creatures which means they died before and killing them again probably wouldn't bother them too much. So i definatly think that zombies should die by any means necassary. If a zombie infestation were to occur I would try to find a cure, but in the mean time if a zombie gets near me I would smack it in the head with a baseball bat because I don't want to become a zombie myself and get hit in the head with baseball bats or anyother weapon that could cause me harm as a zombie.

I agree one hundred percent with the senseless killing of zombies. okay, maybe not senseless, but legally, and religiously, slaying these guys are a-okay. this is especially because it is a means of self-defense. i wouldn't feel bad if it were a loved one because they were already dead, there's no way for me to get them back, and i'm sure if they were in my situation they'd do the same exact thing ! Zombies are mere demons that have taken over the body of the defenseless dead. the human race has every right to take their baseball bats and machetes and butcher the entities in to oblivion, not only would such an action help to sustain nd protect the human race, but it would also allow for a greatly satisfying pleasure to kill the beasts tormenting you. this THRILLING

I think that killing zombies is completely ethical. My theory is that I would rather kill something that's dead before it kills me. As for me, if there should ever be a zombie invasion you know that I'll have my butcher knife right under my pillow.... and btw, I agree with Jerome in asking, "WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH ZOMBIES AT ALL?!!" I believe that the killing of zombies is ethical and correct because zombies are just revived blood-thirsty humans who lack a soul and are a threat to the human species. I would feel pain and regret for having to kill people I knew who had been infected with zombie virus, but at the same time one has to acknowledge that in order to survive this pandemic, you must entirely eliminate the zombie population. You need to contain the spread of the virus and take action fast. If a pandemic of this sort was to ever occur, I would stock up on a lot of food and go to a batting cage and start practicing my swing! Also a machete might come in handy!

Zombie killing is entirely fine with me (resident evil ftw. Zombies are already dead, however and cant be killed, only, um, disabled. EVERYBODY needs a zombie plan, too. Mine, well i wont tell you because if you become one you'll know what it is.

I think killing zombies is ethical and acceptable. This kind of killing is meant to defend yourself. Anyway, zombies aren't considered humans, so killing them would be like trying to kill a rock. Also, if you are protecting against an infection or virus, than killing zombies would help you stay human and healthy and stop the zombies. Even though this sort of problem is most likely unrealistic, it is still important to know what to do rather than hesitating and being hurt by zombies.

Killing zombies is fine by me. I don't want anything eating me for a snack!! I'd feel pretty bad about killing people i have known, but they probably wouldn't want to be in that state. I think they'd rather be at peace instead of living as a dead person. I probably wouldn't kill a zombie if it didn't attack me first. But if something that's dead and alive at the same time attacks me and tries to eat me, i wouldn't just stand there and let it.
P.S i think my brother might be a zombie... but he hasn't attacked me yet, so it's ok!! :D
