I was not surprised when I read , from the article, that many turtles are dying due to global warming. It’s terrible that so many sea turtles are dying because of many effects of warming, and their inability to feed on reefs which a dying in acidic seas. Poaching, commercial fishing and warmer seas has affected sea turtles tremendously. Now they are almost an endangered species, and if the conditions of sea turtles continues they will soon go extinct. It’s amazing how the estimated population of se turtles has decreased fro 90,000 to only about 2,000. I think people should be aware of the possible endangered species and consider ways to save them. It was interesting to learn that if beach temperatures continue to rise it may result in an all-female population of sea turtle, which may be problematic for survival. One interesting fact is that turtles hatch between 40 and 60 days depending on the species.

There are many endangered species that I would like to save, but I would have to say my favorite would be Ailuropoda melanoleuca, which is a giant panda. I would want to save the giant panda because they are the economic heart of China and also important for biodiversity conservation.

This situation is extremely sad and I feel more needs to be done to revive the turtle population. This is just another painful result of the greenhouse gases that are causing global warming. Sea turtles depend on temperature in so many respects, it even decides the sex of the young when they hatch, and now this human-created imbalance is working against them. The increased temperature is cooking the baby turtles in their eggs and causing a major reduction in their population! Turtles have inhabited this earth for 150 million years, compared with humans who have not even been here for a million, yet we feel we are superior to these and other animals and we continue to tamper with the natural order as we progress our species. But, really our choices should be made in the interest of not only ourselves but also our environment and the animals that inhabit this world with us, so that future generations can experience its true beauty and all the amazing animals that inhabit our planet. In this case, the sea turtles have been ignored and now they are suffering. We have to take nature back into our hands so that we can set things straight. Some small outreach groups are doing this already. However, to be fully successful with the sea turtles and the even larger problem of global warming, we must work together and start to make healthier and environmentally safe choices. As a kid I was always fascinated by sea turtles and it truly saddens me to hear that their population is decreasing due to the cruelty and greed of poaching, the ill-regulated practices of mass fishing, and global warming. I hope in the future, with the help of groups dedicated to saving the turtles, that we can restore the sea turtle population to that of 20 years ago and have better regulations on poaching and fishing so that this dilemma will not occur again.
*Fact- The sex of sea turtle young depends on the temperature at which they are incubated in the sand. 29.7 degrees Celsius is the median temperature, at which the sex of the young is equally split(50,50), slightly above that temperature the young are predominantly female and slightly below that temperature they are predominantly male.

These sites describe the crucial problem and how close the Siberian Tiger, and for that matter all tigers, are to extinction. This crisis is ultimently due to the greed invovled in poaching and selling the tigers' beautiful furs. The Siberian Tiger Conservation Association provides education and training for people to spread the word that these magnificent creature are at risk and if something is not done soon it will be too late!
 

This is very sad to hear that animals are dying because of over population, over building and global warming. This is also not very surprising because as you drive down the road, there is always trash on the side of the road and pollution coming out of cars. I cannot believe that the population of sea turtles have decreased from 90,000 to about 2,000. From Global warming they are dying because it boils the eggs or the heat kills the reefs. Over building is killing them because it is taking over the beaches, where they lay their eggs.
They are also dying because over population because it leads to over building which destroys the beaches.
One interesting fact I learned was that the seas levels are rising so fast that is washes away the nests.

There are so many animals that are endangered and I would like to save them all but if I had to chose one, I would chose the gray wolf. I would like to save the gray wolf because uses all it senses to survive, the are a very independent animal.

It is extremely upsetting to hear of the extinction of turtles. The turtles are dieing from global warming. With global warming, the coral reef is heated up which kills the reef and it is a source of food for the turtles. Global warming also heats up the sands which boils the eggs or changes the gender of the egg. With the more amount of uneven genders will make them extinct. Another reason turtles are becoming extinct is because of the over population and cities.

An interesting fact I learned was that "The leatherback is considered critically endangered on a global level. Populations are especially depleted in the Pacific, where only 2,000 to 3,000 are estimated to survive today, down from around 90,000 two decades ago."

Oh, :-(, how sad. This species that once flourished is now becoming endangered; ironic, in a way. In my opinion, concerning global warming, this pretty much proves it exists. After all, there doesn't seem to be any other logical explanation for this. We, as humans, cannot put all the blame on global warming(if i may point out, that we caused in the first place). We have been eating their eggs, and destroying their environment. It makes me feel better that we have people helping these turtles, though miniscule, it is an effort.
Fact: Turtles will not nest(lay their eggs) if there are lights behind the beach.
The endangered organism I would like to save is the Iberian Lynx. Ever hear of her? I doubt it. I picked this fine feline because it wasn't a big shot animal like the panda, tiger, etc.. Yet, it may be even more endangered! It could be the first cat species to be extinct in 2,000 years. Two, oh, oh, oh. Woah.

Turtles are feeling the affect of global warming. Not just global warming either. The temperature may have an affect on the birth rate of the turtles but they are also dieing because of human interference. Humans are building on the beaches and cutting down trees destroying the nature breeding grounds of the animals. There are also poachers hunting the “delicacy” of turtle eggs. People may be quick to blame the decrease in the turtle population on global warming but many other human inflicted problems are a factor too. I believe that the turtle population can be brought back up if humans didn’t interfere with the turtle’s natural habit. We lived in harmony with these creatures not so many years ago.

I learned that the turtle eggs are considered a delicacy in Costa Rica. The turtle eggs are traditionally slurped in bars from a shot glass, uncooked and mixed with salsa and lemon. It used to be a tradition to go out and dig your own eggs but now it is illegal. Biologists are trying to make a cultural change in Costa Rica to prevent more eggs from being destroyed and to ultimately increase the population of the sea turtles.

There are many animals that should be saved and not just based on how much we like them. I would save the Lipotes vexillifer other wise known as the Chinese Lake Dolphin. This dolphin has been on the critically endangered list since 1996. I would save this animal because in 2006 they failed to find any in its natural habitat. Any endangered animal is worth saving and more effort should be put forth in order to save more of these endangered animals. This site by Arkive is trying to help the poor dolphins.
 

I knew that sea turtles have become endagered, but i had no idea that it was this bad. I didnt know that global warming has such a huge effect on these sea turtles. I leared a lot from the video and article but i mostly learned that the eggs of turtles are extreamly sensitive to different tempetures. The slightest change in temp. could make there be more male turtles than female turtles(or the other way around) in one nest. I think that is great that people are making an effort to save the turtles but i also think that the people who just want to see the turtles as a tourist attraction should back off. I think this because it is causing the beaches to to too built up and crowded which is forcing the turtles to nest elsewhere.

There are hundreds of endangered species that i wish i was able to save but if i had to pick just one it would probaly have to be the african elephant. I would have to choose them because i think they are so unique and elegant.

Unfortunately, I think that articles like this are becoming more common. It is a shame that humans are responsible for declining the number of turtles and other species. I am angry that the american people cannot put aside their greed to help other helpless creatures of this world. Some of us are blinded by industry, profit, and money in general so much that we cannot see how wornderful life is without money. We are all interdependent on earth and if a food source for other animals is declined other species will decline. This will also effect humans as a species. These turtles have hard enough time surviving from other natural causes, like predators. They do not need another force thrown at them hindering their chance at survival. They do not need other threats, like comercial fishing nets ond poachers, to their survival. I think we should all take steps at reduciing forms of global warming, not only for the turtles and our health and survival, but for the survival of other species. We are all interdependent.

I had no idea that the eggs of these turtles were so sensitive to temperature. I didn't think about how if temperatures get too high the eggs could potentially boil.

This is a site about the Asian Elephant. It lists some background facts about this animal and some numbers on how quickly the species is declining. I would like to save this animal because it largely dependent on forests for food. I think that deforestation is harmful for many of the same reasons as destruction of a species and should be put to an end. If we save Asian elephants, we can save forests as well.
 

I was not very shocked when i read the article and watched the video. I knew that global warming is causing many issues and this is just another one to add to the increasing list of problems. Though we are making an effort, I believe we can do more to prevent so many turtles from dying. The estimated population of sea turtles has went from 90,000 to about 2,000. Fact:The gender of sea turtles are determined by the egg's temperature during development.

I feel it is our responsibility to protect all animals especially since humans have caused so many of the problems that have affected them, like global warming. If I had to save only one animal I would choose the Grey-shanked Douc Monkey. I do not really have a logical reason for saving this animal. I just like monkeys and think it is really cute.

It is depressing to know that another one of the world's species is endangered due to human activity. The leatherback turtle is endangered by poachers and the various hotels and bars that are located on the beach. The turtles do not nest where there is consistent lights. It is wrong to eat someone's offspring and think it's ok. It is comforting to that the W.W.F. is working to help protect the leatherback turtles. One new fact I learned was that the turtle's gender was based on how hot the sand was around the eggs. If it was 86.9, it would be a female. Any higher and the eggs would be boiled and the turtles would die.

I would choose this animal because it is extremely endangered and on the brink of extinction. Also it is and interesting animal, which eats bamboo and is only located in China.
 

I believe every bit of the video and article. We humans are selfish and think we rule the world but we don't. This world is not big enough for us humans and all the animals. We have killed off many species and should stop. The turtle have never done anything to us so we should follow the bala boys and save the turtles. These turtles are becomes extinct from global warming. the increasing temperatures heat up the sand which boils the eggs or makes more females than male. This will also lead to extinction. Also the coral reefs are dieing so the turtles can't eat. The overpopulation of cities also affects how much space turtles have to lay there eggs. Anyway if the turtles do lay eggs us humans will probably take them or kill them.
I learned a lot of things about turtles. The one thing i learned was that these turtles are becoming extinct. I didn't know that. I also thing that all animals have a equal chance of survival, so I think we should help them like the bala boys.

I hate that animals such as the turtles are going extinct. I feel as if this is partially everyone's responsibility to fix, no matter what they did and and didn't do. I realize that the extiction of sea turtles is caused in part by global warming, poaching, commercial fishing, and the development of houses. I think that people need to be aware of the danger that animals face because of our cruel "rulers-of-the-world" mindset. The population slump of 2,000 breeding females from almost 90,000 alone is horrendous!
Fact: Sea turtles have inhabited the Earth since the age of the dinosaurs.
The Clouded Leopard (Neofelis nebulosa) is a medium-sized cat found in Southeast Asia. It has a tan or tawny coat, and is distinctively marked with large, irregularly-shaped, dark-edged ellipses which are said to be shaped like clouds. And the World Conservation Union estimates that fewer than 10,000 individuals exist. I chose this animal as one I would save because I think that it is a fantastic and beautiful creature.

This was kind of disturbing. I new that turtles were endangered but I didn't know how radically the population has changed.I'm glad that people are making efforts to help the population. The more the reserve land, the larger the sea turtle population will become. I'm in support of this 100%. I didn't know that the tides were raising so rapidly.

If i could save an animal, it would be the Chinese alligator. Alligators are awesome. they are giant lizards that eat any thing smaller or some things that are larger then them.

This blog made me really upset. I hate to think about the extinction of animals. It is really sad that this beach used to have dozens of turtles to show off and only had thirty-two last year. Global warming is killing these animals because what they eat are reefs which are dying in hotter,acidic waters. Though I am not surprised that this is happening I'm really upset.
I never knew that the gender or turtle eggs was not from genes but by the eggs temperature in development. Small rises in beach temperatures can result in all-female populations, obviously problematic for survival.
If i could save one animal that is going to be extinct, it would deffinately be the polar bear. i feel as though the polar bears are cute, warm, cuddly organisms. I would save them because their world is really harsh right now. With all the ice melting they can't travel all over and some are even drowning especially the kin. This website is the WWF. They help these endagered creatures and raise money for them. This website gives you a lot of information about the extinction of polar bears and what we can do to help save them.
 

It is really sad that the turtles are endangered. Whether it is global warming or tricky poachers, the turtles need a lot of help! What I learned was that the water level is rising in the ocean. That means in a very short time the beaches where many generations of turtles nested will be gone forever. I didn't think that using the turtles as a tourist attraction was a good idea in the first place. All that would do is scare the turtles away.

The animal I would like to save would be the southern flat-tailed gecko. I would want to save it because it was very cool looking and exotic. We have to make sure these natural works of art stay out of extinction. It's plight...
 

I think its terrible how we have ruined the chance for baby turtles or any endangered animals to live just for the wants of humans such as beautiful views and global warming. When i watched the video and read the article it disappointed me that people are so unaware of the damage we are doing to not only the sea turtles but our enviroment as a whole. It was shocking to see the tremendous decrease in sea turtle population in only a matter of a few years. The boys that save the turtle on the beaches are doing a great thing! I feel that thet need to inform the rest of the world and get them involved because then there is a greater chance for change. Also, i feel that poching the endangered sea turtles should be outlawed, ssme with using fishing nets during the season the turtles are layed. That way they have a better chance to survie.
Fact: Every 2-5 years female turtles come ashore to nest 3-6 times in a season, laying roughly 100 ping pong ball-sized eggs each time. After approximately 60 days of incubation, the hatchlings emerge together at night and make their way to the ocean, attracted by the brightness of horizon.

I would love to save all endangered species:) but if i had to choose one i would choose the polar bear because the poor bears are losing their homes to global warming; the earth warming up is melting their the ice and their homes:( .This is so sad and i feel they need the most help right now.

It wasn't a huge shock for me that baby turtles were dying because of global warming. 90 degrees is really hot, and its definitely hot enough to boil eggs. It's really impossible to reverse the effects of global warming and to get rid of the things that cause it, but it is very possible to get rid of the buildings and places that crowd beaches. Hotels and houses by the beach are great, but they don't have to be that close to the beach. People can still have a decent beach property, but they have to give the animals that live on the beach some space. It's like a complete stranger coming to your house and suddenly taking your room and forcing you to sleep on the couch. I was really surprised that people actually ate raw turtle eggs. I just think that eating any egg raw is nasty, and I just can't understand how people think the eggs taste good. It just seems wrong to me to pick up a raw egg that was laid by an animal right off the ground and eat it like it doesn't even matter.


I would want to save the Bengal Tiger. This site, from the WWF tells how the Tigers are being pushed from their homes due to a growing population in India and Bangladesh, where the tigers are commonly found.
 

I am disappointed to hear from the article what is happening to sea turtles. I think it's stupid that we're letting all these animals become extinct. This is sad and terrible. It's terrible to hear that they're dying from global warming. I think we should all take a stand and end this chaos and mayhem. glbal warming is warming up the eggs of the sea turtles.
An interesting fact that I found in the article was that on some nesting beaches, scientists are artificially cooling nests with shade or irrigation to make sure that turtles have a place to nest as the seas rise.
Another fact that I found interesting as well is that I didn't know that dogs are a predator of sea turtles. I would have never guessed. I guessed a shark not a dog.


Orangutan
There are so many endangered animals to choose from to save, but if I had to save one it'd have to be the Orangutan. They live in Africa. A lot of animals in Africa are already on the verge of becoming extinct, so why not save one of them. It is really cute and should have the right to live. It's not there fault they're dying for our unethical behaviors. This site wants to help the orangutans live and not become extinct.
 

I am somewhat supreised that global warming is responsable for the endangering of sea turtles. Though I am not suprised at all by the fact that humans have endangered the species. Humans are said to be the most adaptable to all creatures but in my eye as a whole they work as a disease spreading and destroying. Though i note those who have broken away from the destructive nature. I think that the people of costa rica are helping tremendously to undo the damages done by fishing, polution, and poaching.
If i could save one endangered animal it would be the panthera Onca or the Jaguar. They are the largest cats in the americas with males growing up to 3 feet tall 4 feet long and 200 pounds. They are renowned for their strangth speed and beauty. These magnificant creature have inspired things from guitars to cars. They used to inhabit the souther united states but have scince been driven from there. The Northern Jaguar Project help to renintroduce the jaguars into the united states mexico border lands. With their help the jaguar may once again roam the united states.
 

I like turtles very much, even the snapping turtles. I am not happy to hear that turtles are becoming extinct. I find remarkable that the turtle's gender is based on the temperature in which they are in before they are hatched. If the turtle egg is 30 degrees Celcius, then the egg shifts to female. If the egg hits 32 degrees Celcius, they are all female. But if the egg goes above 34 degrees Celcius, then they become scrambled eggs.
One animal I wish I could save that is endangered is the antelope, even though I would like to save many other endangered animals. I would like to save the antelope because they are very cute and helpful. They help the earth because they are a good source of meat, but I am not for killing them for meat. it is unethical killing in my opinion. That is why I like the antelope.
 

Both medias are equally interesting. The article enlightened me to many aspects of turtles that to which i was previously unbeknownst. It's incredible that gender is temprature-specific. Also, it sort induced an 'epiphany,' so t speak, t he effect of global warming. Generally, by a lot of people at least, global warming is often spoken about using "air-quotes," therefore suggesting taht it is an irrelevant theory. I never dismissed it as irrelevant, however, this phonomena and it's direct specificity or it's obvious example and how it's all linked is, truly, amazing. Something that i learned was that they pay local 'kids' a mere two dollars a night to go out and collect the eggs, then place them in a temprature-regulate hatchery. I honestly believe it's a step in the right direction. I think that the consumption, which i find surprising, should cease, or at least, slow down until their numbers are regulated. Perhaps the people of Coast Rica should up the ante on this affirmative action. if it were in my hands to choose an animal I'd save it would probably be the porpoise or the 'Phocoena phocoena.' this is for many reasons, they're sweet, helpful, and i believe outgoing creatures... but it's mostly because of a joke i know about them: Some whales eat dolphins, but it's usually not on porpoise! LOL. This website that I found reports a lot of occurences and raises awareness about porpoise endangerment. On the page, there are a lot of links that lead to other pages and stories relative to the porpoises, the website is pretty full in detail ;)

I was truly amazed by the effects of both global warming and people i.e. development and decreasing beaches on the leatherback turtle population. In just the past decade the population of these turtles has drastically decreased, very rapidly. Action must be taken or else, as with many other animals, this species will die out and be forgotten. People must realize that we are not the only creatures that inhabit the Earth. We must realize that we might have a greater purpose in life, and that we were actually put here to help these animals. We have the means of technology to help these animals adapt to the world that has evolved as a direct result of human activity. I applaud the efforts of local scientists and environmentalists and the Baula boys who are trying to stablize the population and help the number of leatherback turtles return to their prime. I learned that leatherback turtles have dwelled in the Pacific for 150 million years. If I could save one endangered animal it would be the sperm whale because they have the largest brain of any animal and they feed on squid which in my opinion is some of the best food on Earth. Also Moby Dick was based on the story of an actual sperm whale. Save Sperm Whales!
 

I was not suprised by what I read and saw. Turtles are dieing from global warming and poaching. I knew that people are invading animals habitat like in the Amazon Rainforest. The turtles eggs are so fragile that people need to intervine and improve the chance of the leatherbacks survival. I think thats its amazing who mush the turtle population has depleted from 90,000 to about 2,000. I don't think that it should take sush a huge drop in population for people to start doing something. According to one of the experts soon the turtles will not have anywhere to lay the eggs because of all the human invasion. The government should block off an area for the breeding areas of animals. An intersting fact tha I learned about the leatherback turtles is that the temperature of the eggs determines the gender of the turtle and if it gets to hot then the eggs literally fry.

It was hard to pick only one endangered animal to raise awareness about so it would have to be the Red Squirrel. The red squirrel is the national animal of Great Britain and is an animal unique to Britain. The grey squirrel carry dieseases that cause a slow and painful death to the red squirrel.
 

These turtles are dying as a result of global warming and commercial development. I am not at all surprised because people have created such a bad enviornment for the turtles. They are no longer able to reproduce as the temperatures on beaches are too high for eggs to completely develop. The species is on the road to extinction and action must be taken to help restore their numbers. Turtles have been around for over 150 million years and the prospect that they are coming to the end of their days unless action is taken is quite unbelievable. I learned that right after babies hatch, they are already in danger of predation. Many are eaten by birds, crustaceans, other reptiles, and also people (a cultural tradition in Costa Rica which is now beginning to be frowned upon) before they reach the water. If i could save one endangered animal it would be the Chinese River Dolphin because it is found only in the Yangtze River in China and may in fact be extinct already. This is truly sad :( It was no great surprise though as there has been effects of global warming happening all around us. The polar icecaps melting, water level rising and even changes in the temperature is a great part of it, but thats not all. It's awful that these turtles are indeed dying. But the worst part is that we are the root cause of this. What we do is indeed what caused this. The video and the article talked about how our actions are in turn affecting the lives of leatherback turtles. The temperature really affects turtles in various ways. Even the sex is determined by what the temperature is. Even little higher temperature can even destroy the eggs. So, when temperature gets higher, it is not that great for the turtles as they either die or mostly become females which in turn is not so helpful to sustain the species. Also, poaching and fishing has also caused the turtle population to diminish. The awareness about this should be promoted greatly and more people should come out to their aid. It was interesting to know that some of the people are in fact coming out to take care of these possibly endangered species and stopped eatig the turtle eggs. It was also cool to know that there are hatcheries for turtles.

I wuld like to save every single species that is at the verge of extinction. However, i love the white tigers. Sadly they are highly endangered. This organization is working real hard to protect these endangered species.
 

It is disappointing to read about how the Leatherhead sea turtles are becoming endangered animals just because of over population. Many tourist locations, like in Playa Grande, Costa Rica, are becoming over populations and the sea turtles have nowhere to make there nests for the eggs because of all the beach front property. Also, global warming is unfortunately affecting the population decline of sea turtles. Global wamring is rising the temperatures in the atmosphere, which eventualy leads to rising temperatures in the sand. When the sand reaches to a temperature of above 93 degress fahrenheit, the eggs in the sand start to boil and the embreos inside the eggs die.
A fact that i have learned is that the no certain locations, specifically in Costa Rica, the govrnment is trying to save the population of the sea turtles from declining. They are trying to allow that the first 55 yards away from the beach from high tide is cut off from any property, and then allowing 80 yards to be somewhat mixed developed by the human population. The environmentalists and the goverment are trying to save the sea turtle population and need the people to corperate.


I would have to save the Dugong that lives in shallow tropical marine coastal waters. I would save them because they are harmless creatures and they also started the mermaid legends.

It is really sad that these animals are dying when they are barely even born. But it's really great that people who used to poach the same animals are helping to save these animals. I feel bad though because it is kinda like baby chicks being eaten by humans. I would aslso like to go and see the turtles because they seem interessting and I would also like to see baby turtles hatching and heading for thier new homes. I am kinda suprised that it has to do with global warming though because I wouldn't imagine a turtle egg being fried. It's crazzy. I learned that turtles feed on reefs but thier food is now dying due to hot water temps. If I could save an rganism I would want to save the panda because they are so cute and cuddly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.ask carla
agrees that keeping pandas safe and in zoos is ggood. Because of the pandas eating habits and laziness(no offense) the panda is better off being kept in the zoo.
 

I know that the turtles are in trouble. The only thing that I don't get is the reason why we know what we can do but decide not to help out. There are a lot of organizations that do this kind of stuff for all different types of animals. The only reason people don't is because it is not fun and it is inconvenient for us to take in to our lives. I love turtles and that is why I don't go to the beaches when it is nesting time.
If I had to save one animal it would be the Cameroon. They are so important to the balance in the rain forest. The main problem facing this species is that people hunt them for their meat. That is the major thing that is wiping out the species. They are also a very intelligent species. They will by able to find ways to get eaten.

The Coral Reefs are not supporting the turtles for food because they are dying and are to warm. It was interesting that if the sand temperatures raised then the eggs die. It is not right that turtles have bean around millions of years longer than humans and we harm them and decrease the population of their species. Some of the statistics really surprised me, especially the sea turtle population change. I think there are many things we can do to help that species such as prohibiting human contact with them which includes, poaching, fishing and polluting their environment. Another species that is declining is the Bumble Bee. Their habitats, nesting grounds, and pollination spots are being destroyed and the waves from cellular phones are damaging their species. I would want to save the bumble bee because they are a part of our common environment and gardens and they play a huge role in pollination.

I was not surprised that the sea turtles are now dying off because of the effects of global warming. It actually saddens me that these once magnificent creature who have roamed the Earth for more than 100 million years are now slowly going extinct. The current climate has greatly affected the lives of sea turtles. Because of the rising acid levels in seas, turtles are now inable to feed on reefs. The temperature is also affectig the gender of the sea turtles. Due to the slightly higher temperatures, the population of sea turtles could result in all females, which would be slightly problematic. I think that people should better informed of the actual effects of global warming because now that the hype about global warming is over, I think that most people have a preformed idea in their heads that global warming was just an exaggerated hoax that'll all blow over in a couple of years, but unfortunately that isn't the case...

I would love to save all of the endangered animals if I could, but if I had to choose just one I'd probably say that I'd pick the Indochinese tiger. I'd save this animal because it reminds me of myself. Although it is very beautiful, it also very fierce and powerful.

I kind of knew that turtles were dying from global warming, but i had no clue it was on such an extreme level. I cannot believe that poachers would steal the lives of the turtles. If the rate of global warming continues to increase, then the sea turtles will unfortunately go extinct. Luckily, there are many groups of people who do everything in their power to help save the turtles. This group in the video is not the first group i have heard of.
If i could save one animal, which i wouldn't because i would try to save them all, i would save the Ethiopian Wolf because it is the most endangered canine in the world. There are at most 200 left. It used to be classified as a fox until further research showed that it is a wolf. lack of agriculture and disease lead to the decline of the Ethiopian wolf.
