I guess in a way this can be a good experiment, but there are also concerns about it. It can be good because it can change many lives. This can also be a bad thing because not very many people can afford this technology. There is also not a lot known about this technology so it can be hard for people to make such a big decision without all the facts. So in a way this is more of a good thing than a bad thing, but it is still hard to make a conclusion about it without knowing everything.

Bionic implants are another great achievement in science, but I believe they have too many negative aspects as of now. It is another way to better the lives of noble people who have been injured in war and in other accidents. It could better the lives of disabled people as well, and I am all for that. It is always good to broaden knowledge and to know your options, but in this case, I think the bad outweighs the good. This field opens several doors pertaining to issues not only relating to science. This kind of technology opens debates in political, ethical, social, economic, and other issues. Before we can put faith in this technology, we must better understand the possible effects they could have on human lives and whether or not it is worth causing so much conflict.

I think that this is a good and a bad experiment. It could stir up debates in many different ways because people have different views on this. Also many people might not chose this option because of the unknown things and side affects. It is bad because the technology is very expensive. So many people cannot afford this kind of of help with their disabilities. It is good because it offers a sense of help to those who are disabled.

Bionic implants is another great example of science at its best. Bionic implants is a great way for people with disabilities to have some type of relief. However as of today, bionic implants still have more negative impacts rather than positive impacts. The major negative impact is that people who get these bionic implants may have some conflicts with others in society. The main conflict is being a bizarre individual. Nevertheless, if more and more positive effects on bionic implants come into discover, than science has made another wonderous discovery.

I think that this experiment is a good and bad idea. I like it because disabled people can get new limbs. But it may be to expensive for people that need them. So i t is a good idea because the disabled become undisabled. I am kind of iffy on this idea.

This may in fact be a difficult decision for a person because there is little knowledge on how safe this experiment actually is. This may be a bad thing because it is expensive for average citizens and may cause political arguments whether it is moral or not. But overall I do think bionic implants are a good achievement and could be considered ethical. I believe in the near future many of use will be using bionic implants to help us if we become disabled.

I feel bionic implants can have an amazing effect on the world especially the disabled community and I do not see any true argument supporting why this technology in not ethical. I feel that bionic technology can give a person with any kind of disability a second chance at living like a normal individual. I would hate it to be confined to a wheel chair or not be able to fully function and this technology could change that for so many people. The only real issue with bionic technology is that there may be discrimination against those who can not afford the procedure. I feel that this is an absurd reason and a miniscule problem. The benefits and the ability of individuals to regain their lives far outweigh any resulting discrimination issues. As long as this technology is used with some precaution as to who is receiving it so that they will use it wisely and not use it as a foothold to superiority in society, I feel it should be honed and put into use. I feel this innovation, is just breaking the surface and there will be many other developments that will change human life coming from this field of study.

I'm not sure if "bionic" experiments are ethical/moral because it's dangerous and it's combining humans with technology. (It's like iRobot or something.) However, they have their good parts too. They may help most of the physically disabled regain some sense of "normalcy" back into their lives. On the other hand, it makes them less normal than they were before. Aside from social problems there are economic problems too. It is not at a small cost for this type of implant, bionic implants are quite sumptuous. This brings up the advantage of rich over poor; who said life was fair ): I don't think I can really judge though, because this doesn't affect me as much as people with disabilities.

I personally don't think that bionic experiments are moral or ethical. It may change our wounded soldiers' lives and save many others'.It can bring back normality to the lives of who served our country and the unlucky ones with birth defects and such. Many may think it's a totally moral thing but this will lead to the creation of the "robot human beings" which would harm our economic system by creating unemployment. It is also highly expensive. I think we'll just going to have to see how it goes.

There are many things to consider when implanting biotechnology into your body. It could alter the daily way you live your life, but it could also be useful. It would be the best for people with disabilities. It may be able to help war veterens injured in battle. But it might give people unfair advantages in life. Like being able to remember everything you hear. I think that it is ethical that scientists are developing this biotechnology because it could open more doors for people with disabilities, like being deaf or blind. I also think that scientists should limit the rewards that it gives. Like being able to move and feel your hand, but not having superhuman strength in your grip. I believe that biotechnology should be carried out to complete the task that its made for, without superhuman qualities.

Biotechnology in Mice have shown that certain cells can help cure Type 1 diabetes by producing pancreatic cells. But this has also caused tumors inside of the mice, so it is too dangerous to test on humans yet.

I don’t think the experiments are moral or ethical. Bio-technology is altering the natural ways of humans. Humans aren’t meant to be perfect, they are meant to make mistakes or forget things but to learn from those incidents. To get the bio-technology surgery would be very expensive and the people who would be able to afford such a thing would only be the extremely wealthy, giving them even more a reason to think and act as if they are superior to the middle and low class society. Most people who would be a candidate for more reasonable bio-technology surgery (regaining sight or being able to walk) would most likely not be able to afford the surgery. Perfectly able people would just be enhancing themselves beyond what is truly human. The side effects of this experiment are unknown. Although it may seem to be fine now, most things end up with a horrid long term result that might not show up for decades.

I think there are many positive and negative aspects of bionic implants. This can be a good experiment because there are many people who could use the ability to use body parts that don't work or aren't present. for example, elderly people who can't use their hands, people with disabilities and diseases, and/or war veterans with lost body parts. It opens a window to the future. However, it seems to risky to trust the polymers and technology that this requires. Also, this combines humanity with machinery, so in a way i could be considered politically incorrect. People with bionic parts may have trouble fitting in socially into the public. But if more and more people use this technology it will be more common and less bizarre. These new advances in technology seem beneficial but risky.

I believe that these experiments may be a good thing. However, I don't blieve that it is moral or ethical. It could be a good thing because it can change people's everyday life and it can help the people who are disabled. I think it can be bad because people can't afford it and people are going to be afraid of the outcome. I don't think I would ever use this.

On the other, this invention raises moral and ethical negatives-such as how ethical giving people robot-like limbs is. I believe that bio-technology is great- for those who can afford it.

This experiment would be good in some ways and bad in other ways. This defitnately won't be accepted by all. There would be many controversies. Bionic implants would be a great thing foe people with disabilities. they would be able to live their lives more easier. But there ae some negative things to this. Not everyone would be be able to afford it. Many would be risking their lives and health.

I think this expirement is a very very good idea. It'll definatly help those that are disabled, from people who were born without certain body parts to people who lost them in freak accidents. This is a very good chance to for those people to regain something they either lost or never had. A downside to this technology though is that not a lot of people have the money to get these great things. Even though there is a downside to all this, I still think this is an incredible experiment that'll help a lot of people. I hope they come out with new Biotechnologies. Such as the artificial liver in this link.

I think Bionic implants are a very good way to help people in this world without the luxuries most people have. People without certain body parts can finally have a sense of what they have been missing for a long time. Bionic implants could relaly help those who were born without arms and legs or soldiers who have lost them in battle. The problem with these implants though,are how are some people able to afford them. As good as these implants sound, they are probably veyr very expensive and some people cannnot afford them. But besides that I think Bionoic implants are very good. Cavity Fighting Bacteria, is a new type of biotechnology that alters the bacterium Streptococcus mutans, which is known to cause tooth decay, so that it is no longer harmful to teeth.

I am sorry that it took me a little to get on. My internet didn't work starting Wednesday. I think that the ethical idea of bionic implants is a new. Also an interesting idea for the medical area of study. I think that this is a great idea for many people. But I also think that they should find a way to rise money without using the tax payer's money. It will be very cool when they have the technology in the public. After five years of research, they still don't have the research they need to put to out and have people want to get the implant. in addition, some people don't think that it is smart for people to use this way to treat their disabilities. They think that it is discriminating to that person.
 
Sorry I couldn't do this any earlier. I just got power today. I think just the thought of a bionic implant is amazing. A little robot that acts like a cell, it sounds so weird. But I think that it isn't the greatest of ideas. There are a lot of bad things that can go along with the technology. If we get farther into this, sure we can improve many lives, but what would the effect be if we try to make cyborgs out of ourselves. The testing on humans could also turn into an unethical problem. I think that scientists should explore the possible effects of this technology before we actually start using it more often.

I think that this process is ethical and i dont realy see and moral dilemna with it. However i think it should be available to all people not just those who can afford it. It canhelp plenty of people who have lost limbs in accidents or from disease. It also in my oppinion would be awsome to have a super robotic limb(Like Luke skywalker or Darth Vadar)

I think that this invention has become a great move forward in the sense that it could help millions of people. However, it does have some negative effects connected to it. As this new technology becomes more known in the market, its price could be extremely expensive. Also, people may not be able to use the new technology and may not have enough information on its safety. Either way, I still think that this is a great advancement in how the technology we use can also be used to help people who are disabled.

there we go again, science truly thinks of everything. the idea of the bionic man is genuinely scientific innovation at its very best! i think it is a good idea for people who've suffered crippiling injuries from war or elsewhere, and well as those challenged from birth. the only thing i fear is the danger and perhaps obstacles that these victims will subsequently face. also the cost should certainly be obscene and sometimes, out of the question for people. i think if we can get this down to a practical and perhaps inexpensive science , then it's be an excellent idea ! (:

another scientific innovation is the invention and recreation of certain textiles in all fields. There's sturdier cloth and new textiles for things pertaining to, for example, regenerative tissue and things of that nature. it is terribly interesting.
 
I think the bionic devices and implants are a great achievement in the world of science. As this idea is a great one there are many positive and negative aspects. For example, the positive is that people who have been injured in some way causing them to lose a limb can now function (to an extent) the same way as every other human being. The negative aspect is the dangers that can come from the device itself and the cost of the device will be difficult for any average person. If there is a way to reduce risks, making it a very slim chance of device failure and decreasing the cost , i think this concept would be a great and helpful to many.

I think that bio technology is overall a good thing. If someone losses a limb at war or they have a disease that they need to have a limb amputated, bionic parts can help them so that they can still live their lives as normal people. Although it is not very affordable, it is still a great opportunity. I think that the scientists who use it with patients should open up opportunities for other people to be able to use the biotechnology. most people who need the limb are from war and cannot afford much, being the reason they joined the army.

I think these experiments are ok to a degree. Regrowing living cells kind of pushes the boundaries of nature already. But putting mechanical parts in living humans is pushing the limit. I personally dont like the idea of being part robot, there are a million things that can go wrong with a piece of technology. Its really a person's own decision what they want to do with their body, so if they want bionic implants, its their decision not mine. However, this technology may not be worth it because scientists are already trying to regrow lost cells or replace cells that have problems. It just seems like another thing that people are doing just to say they've done it. Also, the costs would be huge for any bionic implant if they ever exist as a real life product. Not everyone can afford luxuries like this, so why make it if only some people can use it?

This could be a good experiment because it could help people but we don't know much about it so it could be be bad. If I needed this i would want to know more about it but if its not dangerous I would get it. If it is of course I would get it.

yes these experaments are a good thing. research in this field could cause people with permanent disabillities, such as deafness, to live "normal" lives (whatever normal is).there is some cause for concern, however. it may be a bit costly. it could also give its recipients advantages, such as increased strength or senses. if it does, there may be people who can afford this technology, who dont need it. all they want to do is abuse this tech.

make it quick, got it.ok so this guy, Danny Leung, found a protien called ESET that can affect the intensity of retroviruses. incresing there activity could result in them attacking cancer cells, or flagging cancer cells to be attacked by the immune system.
 
This is indeed a great experiment as many lives in a good way. However, there are a lot of concerns on it. They are in a way ethical and moral as it provides limbs to many people using the new inventions which is a great way to use it. The only concern that many people have is that it is not perfected yet. The experiments are still in the middle stages and getting the bugs fixed. In my case, i would definitely use anything of this sort as long as it doesn't kill me or something.

I do think that these experiments are moral and ethical for many reasons. First, people need these bionic body parts for them. I mean if you already lost an arm or hand and you get a bionic one and it doesn't work, what is the worst that could happen? You already do not have a hand, so I would take the risk of the bionic arm. Even though some people think it might bother them and affect them, I thin it is worth the risk, but should be up to the human if they want to do it.
