SEA TURTLES....
In the past two decades, the sea turtle bycatch rose into the millions. A recent survey says that they are at the brink of endangerment. This has been proved to be an aftermath of the improved fishing gears. The turtles are being accidentally snagged be hooks and drowned in nets. Use of the long-line fishing nets are the major cause of this. It can be easily seen that we are indeed the indirect cause of this!1. Read the article about turtle bycatch.
